Hi and welcome,

I am Laure, originally from France; I have been living in the UK for 20 years.

I moved to London to pursue a professional dance training at London Contemporary Dance School and since, I worked professionally across the UK and internationally. My most recent contract was with Punchdrunk in Shanghai.

Since becoming a mum of twin girls, my career has slowly transformed into something more suitable for the family lifestyle. My aspiration is to help as many people as possible to reconnect deeply with themselves, feel confident with their daily activities and improve their existing skills. I believe that feeling comfortable in our bodies shapes the environment we live in and enrich the way we interact with the world. When we feel open, we can make better choices, live aware and live with greater creativity.

I am also very interested in how Feldenkrais can inform physical creativity in dance and in drama.

I am currently working on developing a workshop that I entitle Feldenkrais Into The Unexplored Body. It is workshop accessible to all individuals who wish to investigate and explore the depth of their physicality and spirit. Can we maintain a playful body and a curious mind in all aspect of our lives? Does our home body need to be different than our work body and athletic body? How can we stay curious, satisfied and creative in our lives?

I was first introduced to the Feldenkrais Method 20 years ago, during my dance training at The Place. Over the years, I used the method to overcome my injuries, work creatively with choreographers, and, most recently, play with my daughters.

I am a fully insured authorised-student within the context of my ongoing training with Feldenkrais Education‘s professional training to conduct lessons of Awareness Through Movement. I am a member of The Feldenkrais UK Guild and the International Feldenkrais Federation. I am also a Pilates instructor and ante & postnatal exercise adaptation specialist.

I look forward to meeting you.
