“Make the impossible possible, the possible easy, the easy elegant.” MF .
In this workshop we will explore the possibilities to increase range of motion from a place of self-organisation, ease and playfulness. Often when we think about flexibility, we think about stretching the muscles. However, for the muscles to respond adequately, our skeletal structure needs to be organised efficiently and our entirety needs to feel safe.
Feldenkrais® is based on the science of Neuroplasticity. It uses gentle movements and guided attention to help people learn new and more effective ways of moving through life, improve athletic skills, expand physical and mental creativity.

The Feldenkrais®️ Method is based on the science of Neuroplasticity. It uses gentle movements and guided attention to help people learn new and more effective ways of moving through life, improve athletic skills, expand physical and mental creativity.
The movement exploration works like a riddle, taking you on a self-discovery journey. The movements are repeated slowly, so gradually, you start feeling and sensing how your body organises itself. You’ll be encouraged to slow down, reduce the effort and be curious to dive deeper into your sensations to enhance your self-awareness and expand your horizon towards new ways of moving.

This workshop is suitable for professional movers, dancers, performers, actors alike as well as recent graduates.
We will start with an Awareness Through Movement from the Feldenkrais Method® , exploring a function around developmental patterns . We will slow down to increase sensitivity, awaken our self-awareness, connect to our muscular-skeletal system with the least amount of effort in order to bring our nervous system in a state of readiness and openness.
Thus sensing with precision how our body moves in the simplest way.
From this mindful state I will guide you into an improvisation where physical sensations dictate your next move. Using imaginary, tasks, games and my experience rooted in dance & theatre to delve into embodied storytelling, to shift shapes, integrate new movement patterns and recognise old ones. I wish to create a space where you can discover your unexplored body and experiment with your physical creativity to find new possibilities.
